March 29: We just want to thank all of our community for your continued support during this challenging time. Our Family Dinner program remains open and we will continue to offer this service as long as we can. We are also happy to pick out any wines or beer for you – plus we’re selling coffee by the pound if needed. To order from our Family Dinner program, CLICK HERE.

March 23: With a growing number of cases continuing to be diagnosed in our communities each day, The Root Cellar has decided to temporarily suspend all service, with the exception of our Family Dinner program. We will continue to offer these meals using a very limited staff as long as there is demand for them and as long as the service can continue safely.These meals can be easily ordered online HERE and can be picked up on Mondays and Tuesdays in Chapel Hill (by our alley side door) and in Pittsboro (by our backdoor across from Bojangles). You will receive an email notifying you of the available times for pickup.
We so appreciate your continued support during this very stressful and challenging time. We love our customers and this small business community so much, and we look forward to being able to fully serve you again soon.
